Erin Moore, was raised in a small rural town in Canada. Here she witnessed first hand the lack of opportunity in remote and less financially stable areas. After the death of her mother, a trade-skill provided her a successful and profitable future she might not have had.  With hard work and determination, combined with a supportive welcoming community created an opportunity to establish one of the Top Salon Groups in North America.
 

Erin Moore established the is. Salon Group in 2008 with one goal: To bring together a talented team of skilled professionals passionate about making their clients look and feel their best.  Due to overwhelming demand, a second location was needed and in 2012, in. Salon Yaletown was opened. 2018 marked the expansion of the third location, is. Salon Kelowna.
 

Erin is the region’s leading expert in hair extensions, and has had the privilege of training as an educator for the world’s top extension brand.  Erin is skilled working with all types of extension methods throughout her career. She has a talent for matching the best extension method to each individual’s hair, and is known for her flawless extension and color blending. Erin believes hair should look natural and sexy, and that extensions should be “your little secret”. She offers both men’s and women’s cut and color services, specializing in brilliant blondes, highlights, balayage, and ombre.
 

After several visits to Africa witnessing and experience the lack of supportive trade institutions, Erin Moore and Daniel Meyerowitz, (is. Salon Group’s General Manager) established The Hair Cares Foundation in 2018.  This charity promotes equality, empowerment, and self-esteem through basic hair-skills training for at-risk youth and young adults.  Both used their trade skills to continue to grow and support others in the industry. With their continued success, it is their turn to do their part to contribute knowledge and first-hand skills to the youth of tomorrow by giving the same opportunity to them.
