HEALTH & SAFETY PROTOCOLS

Your safety and the safety of the crew at the is. Salon Group is important to us!  As we continue to navigate the COVID-19 Pandemic we have had to make several modifications to our service and experience offerings you have come to expect at is.

As required by WorkSafe BC and the Provincial Health Office we are required to comply with several  guidelines and social distancing requirements.  You'll notice that we have made several modifications to our service offerings such as suspending our refreshment offerings, requiring a wearing a mask for your service and removing magazines. We ask all our guests to please complete the online COVID-19 Health Declaration. 

While many of these temporary changes are significant, the entire team at the is. Salon Group continues to be committed to your satisfaction and ensuring you receive the unparalleled service we are known for.

PREPARING FOR YOUR VISIT TO IS.

  • Arrive no more than 5 minutes before your appointment. 
    Due to social distancing, the waiting areas are no longer available.  Please wait outside until the Front Desk notifies you.

     

  • Please wear a mask in the salon at all times.
    You may bring a personal face covering from home or purchase a mask on arrival. Guests not wearing a mask will not be permitted into the salon.  We recommend bringing a few masks as they may get wet or colour on them.

     

  • GOWNS ARE TEMPORARY DISCOURAGED.
    A freshly laundered cape will be provided for each guest. Please wear clothing suitable for the risk (such as: moisture, colour, hair etc.) of the service.  (The is. Salon Group will not be held responsible for damage to personal items.)
     

  • Attend appointments alone.
    Friends, family, children and/or pets will be asked to stay at home.
     

  • avoid bringing in jackets and other personal items into the salon.
    To avoid potential contamination, please leave jackets and personal belongings at home.  (The is. Salon Group will not be responsible for any contents left in your vehicle.)
     

  • You will SCREENed FOR ANY COVID-19 SYMPTOMS.
    We ask all guests to complete the online COVID-19 Health Questionnaire.
     

  • Please wear a mask in the salon at all times.
    You may bring a personal face covering from home or purchase a mask on arrival.  Guests not wearing a mask will not be permitted into the salon. 
    We recommend bringing a few masks as they may get wet or colour on them.
     

  • Please disinfect your hands using hand sanitizer provided.
    Please sanitize your hands upon entry; before and after using the washroom and upon exit.
     

  • Our refreshment service and magazine offerings are temporary unavailable.
    If necessary - we recommend bringing in a beverage with a resealable lid and refrain from bringing in food as masks need to be worn at all times.

  1. You have answered the questions truthfully and understand the implications of making a false declaration.  This information will also be confirmed on arrival to the salon.

  2. Should you answer "YES" to any of the questions, the is. Salon Group will unfortunately not be able to honour your appointment and your appointment will be cancelled. 

  3. I am aware of the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury to myself (including, but not limited to, personal injury, disability, and death), illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind, that I may experience or incur in connection with is. Salon./

CANCELLATION POLICY:
We understand that things happen and from time to time you may have to postpone or cancel your appointment.  As a courtesy, kindly provide us with 48 hours notice of postponement or cancellation of appointments.

The is. Salon Group reserves the right to administer a cancellation fee.
