HEALTH & SAFETY PROTOCOLS

Your safety and the safety of the crew at the is. Salon Group is important to us!  As we continue to navigate the COVID-19 Pandemic we have had to make several modifications to the is. experience.  Some of these adjustments include: suspending our refreshment offerings, reducing time spent at the sink  and suspending scalp massages.  In addition, all team members are clients are required to a wearing a mask while in the salon.  We ask all our guests to please complete the online COVID-19 Health Declaration. 

While many of these temporary changes are significant, we continue to adapt and pivot our Safety Plan to meet and exceed requirements by WorkSafe BC, Interior Health and the Provincial Health Office.  The entire team at the is. Salon Group continues to be committed to your satisfaction and ensuring you receive the unparalleled service we are known for.

ARRIVING FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT @ IS.

You will Screened FOR ANY COVID-19 SYMPTOMS.

We ask all guests to complete the online COVID-19 Health Questionnaire.

Arrive no more than 5 minutes before your appointment.

Due to social distancing, please arrive on time for your appointment as the waiting areas are no longer available.

No food or drinks Permitted in the salon.

We have temporarily discontinued our complimentary refreshments. You may bring food and beverages to be consumed outside of the salon if necessary.   

Please wear a mask in the salon at all times

You may bring a personal face covering from home or purchase a mask on arrival. Guests not wearing a mask will not be permitted into the salon.  We recommend bringing a few masks as they may get wet or colour on them.

GOWNS ARE Temporarily DISCOURAGED.

A freshly laundered cape will be provided for each guest. Please wear clothing suitable for the risk (such as: moisture, colour, hair etc.) of the service.  (The is. Salon Group will not be held responsible for damage to personal items.)
 

Attend appointments alone.

Friends, family, children and/or pets will be asked to stay at home.
 

ONLY BRING IN NECESSARY PERSONAL ITEMS INTO THE SALON.

To avoid potential contamination, please only bring essential personal belongings at home.

To reduce the spread, we are minimizing the time spent at the backbar/sink area as such we have discontinued scalp massages.
 

Our refreshment service and magazine offerings are temporary unavailable.

To reduce the spread, eating and drinking is not permitted in the salon.  Please step outside the salon premises to consume a beverage or to eat. 
 

DURING YOUR SHAMPOO, CONVERSATION WILL BE KEPT TO A MINIMUM.

  2. Should you answer "YES" to any of the questions, the is. Salon Group will unfortunately not be able to honour your appointment and your appointment will be cancelled. 

  3. I am aware of the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury to myself (including, but not limited to, personal injury, disability, and death), illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind, that I may experience or incur in connection with is. Salon./
